John Williams Therapy is committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of clients, prospective clients, website visitors and any other individuals whose information is processed in the course of providing services.

If you have concerns about how your personal information has been collected, used, stored or shared, you have the right to raise those concerns with John Williams Therapy. This procedure explains how data protection complaints will be handled.

How to Make a Complaint

To help with the investigation of your concerns, please provide:

* A description of your concern or complaint.
* Any relevant dates, correspondence or information that may assist in investigating the matter.

Acknowledgement of Complaints

All data protection complaints will be acknowledged within 30 days of receipt.

The acknowledgement will confirm that the complaint has been received and is being reviewed.

Investigation Process

Upon receipt of a complaint, John Williams Therapy will:

* Review the concerns raised.
* Examine any relevant records or documentation.
* Consider whether any data protection obligations have been breached.
* Take appropriate action where necessary.

Where additional information is required to investigate the complaint, you may be contacted for clarification.

Outcome

Once the investigation has been completed, you will receive a written response explaining:

* Any further options available to you.

Complaints will be handled fairly, objectively and without undue delay.

Dissatisfaction with the Outcome

If you remain dissatisfied following the outcome of your complaint, you have the right to raise the matter with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s independent authority responsible for upholding information rights.
