Hello and welcome to my blog! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is John and I’m a counsellor with a shiny new business! You might be wondering what I do and why I decided to start this blog. Well, let me tell you a little bit about myself and my journey.
I’ve always been passionate about helping people and making a positive difference in their lives. I firmly believe that everyone has the capacity to deal with whatever life puts in our way. For some of us, however, the path to get there is so obscured from view that it feels an impossible task to navigate. And this is where counselling can help.
Before entering the world of counselling I worked for 11 years for local government where I assisted vulnerable adults and children. I have seen people in their darkest moments and this gave me a deep compassion to help those in need.
But enough about me. Let’s talk about you. You are the reason why I started this blog. I want to share with you some of the insights, tips and tools that I use in my counselling practice. I want to help you overcome your challenges, achieve your goals and live your best life. Whether you are struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem, career choices or anything else, I’m here to support you and guide you.
This blog is not a substitute for professional counselling, but it is a resource that you can use to enhance your well-being and personal growth. I will post regularly on topics that are relevant and helpful for you. I will also answer some of the questions that you might have about counselling or life in general. And of course, I will also share some of my own stories and experiences along the way.
I hope you will enjoy reading this blog as much as I enjoy writing it. I hope you will find it informative, inspiring and entertaining. And most importantly, I hope you will find it useful for your own journey.
